2 cups of your favorite Barbecue Sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
3 cloves garlic, freshly minced
2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
4 to 5 pounds baby back ribs
In a ziplock bag, pour in the barbecue sauce.
Add the brown sugar, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper (if using).
Seal the bag and knead it with your hands to mix the sauce ingredients well.
Open the bag and place the ribs inside.
Close the bag and shake it to ensure the ribs are completely coated with the sauce.
Spray the inside of the crockpot with cooking spray.
Open the bag and place the ribs into the crockpot.
Pour about ¾ of the sauce from the bag over the ribs, making sure they are well covered with the sauce.
Cook on high for 4 to 5 hours if you prefer fall-off-the-bone tenderness. Alternatively, cook on low for 9 hours for a similar result.
For meat that is super soft but still clinging to the bone, cook on low for 7 hours.
Keep some of the barbecue sauce aside for serving. This allows each person to add more sauce to their ribs if desired.
