Bacon eggs and hash browns



°1 (30 ounce) package frozen hashbrown – thawed


°½ pound bacon – cooked crispy and crumbly


°8 eggs


°Half a cup of whole milk or half and half


°½ tsp. salt


°½ tsp. onion powder


°¼ tsp. garlic powder


°¼ tsp. pepper


°pinch of cayenne pepper


°8 oz. Cheddar cheese


°Chopped green onion, for garnish optional




Preheat oven to 350°F, lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish.


Spread the hash in an even layer on the bottom of the prepared tray.



In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, and cayenne. Pour over hash browns.


Sprinkle half the amount of cheese, all the bacon, then the remaining cheese.


Cover tightly with foil.


Bake for 1 hour, then remove the tin foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until center is cooked through and knife in casserole comes out clean.


Leave it for 5-10 minutes before serving.


Garnish with chopped green onions, if desired
