Cheeseburger Pie

• 1 pound of ground beef
• 1 small onion, finely chopped
• 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon of onion powder
• Salt and black pepper, to taste
• 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
• 1 cup of milk
• 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
• 2 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon of baking powder
• Optional toppings: chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce, pickles, ketchup, mustard

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it’s browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks.
3. Add in the chopped onion, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook until the onion is soft and the beef is fully cooked. Drain off any excess grease.
4. Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly in the bottom of your greased pie dish. Then, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, flour, eggs, and baking powder until it’s nice and smooth. Pour this mixture over the beef and cheese in the pie dish.
6. Pop it in the oven and bake for around 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden brown and set.
7. Once it’s done, take it out of the oven and let it cool for a bit before slicing it up.
8. Serve your slices of Cheeseburger Pie with your favorite burger toppings like chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Enjoy!
