Air Fryer Crispy Chicken Breast

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 large eggs
1 cup (120g) breadcrumbs
1/2 cup (60g) grated Parmesan cheese
Olive oil spray
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
In a shallow bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
In another shallow bowl, beat the eggs.
In a third shallow bowl, combine breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Spray both sides of the coated chicken breasts with olive oil spray.
Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Air fry for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken breasts and continue cooking for another 8-10 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F / 74°C).
Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or over a salad for a complete meal.
Adjust seasoning to taste, adding a pinch of cayenne pepper for extra spice if desired.
